Welcome to Scotland Walking Holidays. We organise small group, guided walking holidays in Scotland. In 2024 we have tours to Shetland, Orkney and the North West of Scotland.

There is no better way to discover Scotland’s history, culture, wildlife, and landscape, than on foot with a guide. Our tours bring together professional guides, small group sizes (4-8 people), carefully selected accommodation, ferries, minibus transport, walking trails and sites of interest, to provide a personal and high-quality hiking experience.

Scotland Walking Holidays is run by Aspen Outdoors Ltd, a small walking and hiking tour company run by Alastair Ewen and team: Jen Brooke, Alan Dorward, Saki Nakamura, Anne Pulli and Iain Cruwys. These scheduled holidays were set up and operated, for many years, by Frieda Bos and About Argyll Walking Holidays. After 16 years as a guide for About Argyll, Alastair and team will be taking over the running of these well-established tours.
